Out of the Cocoon
Yesterday, during Early Morning Prayer, I was praying and all of a sudden I start seeing something. I’m looking at a green meadow through the eyes of a butterfly. But before that, I saw a perfect dandelion being put back to the green grass. It was truly very odd. But I wrote it down because the last time I saw things while praying, they weren’t just from my own imagination.
When I’m praying, my mind starts drifting suddenly to certain strange visions. Because it was the second time this happened, I was so sure it wasn’t just my imagination. So during our LT Retreat Time Alone with God, I really thought about it and thought about it and nothing came to mind. I really didn’t know what God was trying to show me through this vision.
Today, I was scrolling down my dash and I see this picture that has the words, “God changes caterpillars into butterflies.” Then instantly that vision came into mind. Looking at the world in the eyes of a butterfly. Then I started to analyze. Maybe it means that I’ve now turned into a butterfly and that promise of the New Heart that God has promised me has already been fulfilled.
Honestly, I don’t know for certain. I don’t even know if that vision was really from God. But I want to believe that it does and I want to become more and more certain. The next time I receive these visions or what not, I hope that I will be able to know exactly what He is trying to show me.
